Brisbane came out to party on July 7 for the annual Teneriffe Festival. This huge one day event celebrates all things Teneriffe and the rich history the suburb embodies.
A few of our lawyers headed out this weekend to join in the celebrations and were greeted by a massive street party, with streets normally busy with cars instead lined with food and market stalls, games and entertainment. Whether you had a taste for American burgers and hot dogs, a Thai curry, Greek, Italian or a classic sausage sizzle, this party had you covered.
Local business were on the scene and there were plenty of displays to show the rich history of Teneriffe and how far it has come from an industrial zone, to busy port, to military base, to upper class housing.
